Imije also known has Marel Sims when we interviewed the rapper while he was working on the music video Ketamine, though the interview video was shoot in the studio at New Vinyards Studio in the estern part of the city of Kingston. We had a talk about his coming up in the music, he explained that he did music on different recording devices one in particular that was called "Dot" something simulator to what a cassette is, he also said he would  also recorded music on cassettes and CDs, This all started for Imije from the age of 14 he was also interested in drama doing acting in plays for his community. Villain Roots is a culture artist but also talented so the sky's the limit for this caliber of artist. Once I was in the boot and he was my engineer for the session. Villain Roots who had a strong background in the church choir, so this artist knows his notes and keys when delivery his music vocally.
